E-motion is energy in motion. Feelings are energy vibrations that need to flow through us. Everything in the universe consists of energy which is constantly moving, changing and adapting to maintain its finely synchronised equilibrium. Emotions are no different. Suppressed feelings that are stuck cause blocked emotional energy in our psyche, which create disharmony and trauma, a state of psychological disequilibrium.
In nature the flow of energy can be seen in the change of the seasons, and the lifecycle of organisms that make up various ecosystems. Any unnatural, man-made interference interrupts the delicate balance and health of the system, with negative implications such as loss of species and increased CO2 in the atmosphere. Overtime, as we are now experiencing and realising the stark reality of the effects of climate change and the survival of our species.
The human psyche also needs to be in flux to foster emotional growth and stability. Feelings are part of the ecosystem of the psyche. When someone gets verbally and/or physically assaulted, the emotional and physiological shock can get absorbed in the psyche and remain stuck. This is because at the time you were unable to protect yourself, being unable to fight or run away to avoid being harmed. The energy of fear that was created at the time of the bad event could not be moved and released as is its natural course, but instead got trapped within the body.
So, as with the detrimental impact of man-made intrusions in nature, our stuck emotion(s) cause significant interferences in the ecosystem of our psyche, with life changing consequences.
In our bodies, emotional pain often shows up in the digestive system - the gut and the colon. If you experience frequent tummy aches, bowel problems, bloating, constipation and diarrhoea then you are likely holding on to stress and experiencing chronic anxiety.
The body never lies, but alerts us to unresolved emotional/psychological problem(s). Gut issues tell you that fear is residing in your body. Fear and trapped anger from a significant event(s), are the leading cause of suffering with chronic levels of anxiety, as well as contributing factors for the development of disease.
